All Saints’, Palo Alto, strives to be a church where everyone feels welcome and valued no matter where they have come from, how long they will stay, or whether they are used to being in church or not. As an inclusive congregation, we are welcoming of both human experience and human diversity. As a Christian community, we take the Bible seriously: we seek to understand it in the light of that experience and diversity. We keep in mind, however, that this age knows many things the Biblical writers did not, and could not, know, and that God is still speaking to God’s people. Our aim is to be a Christian community in the heart of Silicon Valley which connects our individual stories to the great story of God’s love still being written in Jesus Christ.
Our services are recognizably traditional but with a contemporary flair, with music drawn from across the centuries of Christian worship, combined with preaching grounded in the scriptures and in theological reflection.
Whether you’re visiting family or friends, here on business, or looking for a parish that feels right, we would love you to come visit. If you want to know more about what to expect, or perhaps listen to past sermons, we can help you with that. Our church reflects something of the amazing variety of people who live in this dynamic community: we are partnered and single, young and old, gay and straight, some of us have a sure Christian faith and some of us struggle with belief. We aim to be a family where everyone matters and is invited to be a part of our community.
Our Facebook page – All Saints Episcopal Church Palo Alto – and this website are good places to find out about upcoming events and opportunities to connect. On our site you can also listen to past liturgy, glimpse photos of our worship and activities, hear choral music from services, and read about others’ experiences.
Wherever you are in your journey in faith, we welcome you to visit All Saints’. Both you and your doubts/fears/questions are welcome.
