I came to All Saints in 1988. During my years here I have been a counter, served on the Altar Guild, the Adult Forum Planning Committee and the Practical Support Team, and, when Sheridan Harrison was our interim, on the Liturgy Planning Committee. For the past several decades I have scheduled the lectors for Sunday services and recently became one of the editors of the bulletin ( I have kept the red pencil from my years of teaching English to look for grammatical errors, replace missing words or phrases, and generally make the document as clear and readable as possible). The All Saints community has enriched my life in countless ways. I love being with people who are sincere in their desire to apply the teachings of Jesus to everyday life, who are passionate about spiritual growth and education, and who genuinely enjoy being in each other’s company. It is wonderful to know that I can sit down at any table and be in a congenial group. As a vestry member I hope I can help to find ways of balancing our cherished liturgical traditions with the innovations that will appeal to younger church members.
