'Icons in Transformation' Art Exhibit
Icons in Transformation is an international traveling art exhibition created by Swedish artist Ludmila Pawlowska. Rooted in the ancient tradition of sacred icons, Pawlowska’s work reimagines these timeless images in contemporary forms. The exhibition features numerous large-scale modern interpretations of icons, rendered in a variety of media. The viewer is invited into a dialogue between past and present, mystery and expression, devotion and creativity. Pawlowska’s work is characterized by her unique style of “three-dimensional paintings,” where she expands the traditional boundaries of painting and sculpture.
Icons in Transformation is more than an art show—it is a spiritual experience. Walking among the icons, visitors will encounter beauty that transcends words and discover new ways of experiencing God’s presence. All Saints' Episcopal Church is honored to share this exhibit with the community, opening our doors to seekers, artists, and all who wish to explore the transforming power of sacred art.
This exhibit is dedicated to Ukraine.
Coming soon: January 25 to April 5.
