Aidan first began voice and piano lessons at 6. He was accepted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in the junior music program, studying piano under Prof. Eleanor Wong from 2019 - 2022. Aidan decided to learn the organ after he was offered free organ lessons to help with his middle school’s morning services. After moving to the United States, his passion for the pipe organ reignited after a trip to New York City, where he saw the great organs of the churches and cathedrals there. He began organ studies with Dr. Angela Kraft Cross in 2023.
Aidan is enthusiastic about his music education, and has studied with many acclaimed teachers in America and France. Over the last two winters, he traveled to Paris, Bordeaux, and Lyon after receiving scholarships from the San Francisco Peninsula Organ Academy. There, he took lessons with many renowned organ professors on literature and improvisation on historic instruments.
He serves as a substitute organist at several churches around the Bay Area, including St Paul’s Episcopal Church, Christ Church Los Altos, and St Veronica’s Catholic Church.
