Baptism was Jesus' moment of call. Submitting himself to a relationship. Ministry is more about a relationship than about doing something. When we do the ministry we put ourselves in a position to see the dove and hear the voice. The chores are our opportunity for learning. Ministry is what we are willing to do for others' sake. Call, ministry, chores: in a community they all exist. We are baptized, called, given lives to live.
